Scottish airline Loganair is investing in its flying programme at Manchester Airport with a series of service enhancements ahead of launching three new routes.
The carrier is moving to a new terminal base as it readies for the launch of its routes from Manchester to Exeter, Manchester to Southampton, and Manchester to the Isle of Man, which are all set to begin later this month.
From October 20, Loganair will be located in Terminal 2, having previously operated in Terminal 3.
Manchester Airport is undergoing a significant investment programme, with more than £1.3bn being spent on its transformation over the coming years.
As part of this upgrade, Terminal 2 will double in size, providing more seating, space for passenger and restaurant facilities.
With Loganair growing its operations from its Manchester base, the airline is gearing up for a busy start to the year.
Luke Lovegrove, chief commercial officer at Loganair, said: “Whilst it will have no impact on our customers, the move to Terminal 2 will support our growing operations from Manchester.
“With three new routes launching this year, this is a very exciting time for staff and customers alike.
“We have already received a very positive response to our early ticket sales for these new routes, and we are encouraging customers to book now to avoid missing out.”
Earlier this year Loganair was ranked second in the Which? annual customer survey of short-haul airlines, achieving a 72% customer score. The airline received a five-star rating for customer service and four stars for booking, boarding, and cleanliness.
More recently, Loganair was named the most punctual for UK arrivals and departures in Q2 2025 by the UK Civil Aviation Authority, with 86% of its flights arriving and departing on time.
