Ask Real Estate is seeking feedback on the 115,000 sq ft proposal, which would provide last-mile logistics accommodation close to Manchester Airport.

Jamie Hills, development director at Ask said: “Our proposals will bring a currently unused site into productive use, creating modern logistics and light industrial units designed to meet strong local demand.

“The development would support new job opportunities and contribute to the continued growth of Wythenshawe’s economy and we’re hoping people will contact us online or join us in person to find out more about our plans.”

The units would range in size from 6,700 sq ft to 21,646 sq ft. Ask is targeting BREEAM Excellent and EPC A accreditations.

They would appeal to would businesses including those in hi-tech industries, aviation, logistics, and warehousing, according to Ask.

Deloitte is advising on planning matters. The consultation on the plans is now live and will run for two weeks, ending on November 6.

Ask acquired the development plot opposite Manchester Airport from Advanced Research Clusters, an entity connected to Arlington, the original developer of Manchester Business Park, in September.

The site benefits from outline permission secured by Arlington in 2019 for 140,000 sq ft of office space. It is located close to MIX Manchester, a 60-acre, £1bn manufacturing and R&D hub.
